2nd Innovative TB Health Technologies sharing platform - An enabling Workshop
The 2nd Innovative TB health Technologies sharing platform - An enabling Workshop was organized by ICMR-NIRT and DHR. It took place at Department of Health Research, New Delhi on 16th February 2024. This workshop is a continuation of the 1 st workshop that happened in June 2023, as a result of which 8 innovations were taken forward for Health Technology Assessment. The aim of “Innovative TB Health Technologies”- the sequel of workshops is to associate Indian innovators with the policy makers to fasten the development of innovative TB products that can be deployed at large scale nationwide. The 2nd workshop of the series focussed on TB vaccine discovery and TB digital health technologies. A total of 16 expression of interests were received for this workshop and eight were shortlisted to be presented at the workshop. According to the developmental stage of the products, they were categorized into green, light green and yellow by the expert panel. Feedback would be sent to the innovators to improve/ work on their products.
