3rd Regional "TB Stakeholders Consultation" meeting
ICMR-NIRT, in collaboration with the Women's Collective Forum, organised the 3rd "Regional TB Stakeholders Consultation" meeting on 10th March, 2025 at Guwahati to understand India's Progress in addressing the challenge of Tuberculosis focusing on North-Eastern states and West Bengal. Various delegates from Central Tuberculosis Division, World Health Organization, Indian Council of Medical Research, Non-Government Organizations, private and government Pulmonologists, The UNION, front line workers, IIT Bombay and The World Bank discussed about challenges faced by healthcare professionals as well as patients in North-East region and the probable ways to overcome these challenges. In addition, TB co-morbidities including HIV TB and Diabetes were discussed.
