67th Annual Day Celebrations
ICMR-NIRT celebrated its 67th Annual Day on 4th August 2023. Dr. Leeberk Raja, Scientist-E & Chairperson of the Annual Day Celebration Committee welcomed the gathering. Prof. R. Shanthi Malar, Director of Medical Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest for the occasion. She delivered the keynote address and honoured the staff members who had completed 25 years of dedicated service at ICMR- NIRT. During the event, Mr. Jagadeesan, The Founder & Director of SS Companies was also honoured for his philanthropic support towards Nikshay Mitra initiative of ICMR-NIRT. Dr Lakshmi Murali, Director, State TB Training and Demonstration Centre (STDC) was honoured by Prof R. Shanthimalar for her exemplary contribution for TB and collaboration with ICMR-NIRT. Dr. C. Padmapriyadarsini, Director of ICMR- NIRT presented her report for the year 2022-23 and Dr Bhavani delivered the vote of thanks.
