National Pharmacovigilance Week Celebrations 2025
The Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) at ICMR-NIRT celebrated the National Pharmacovigilance Week (17th to 23rd September, 2025) as mandated by the Indian Pharmacopeia Commission, the National Nodal Agency for Pharmacovigilance Program of India. As part of the celebrations, NIRT AMC organized a short film competition on "ADRs in TB" for nursing students from Madurai Medical College and Madras Medical College. On 22nd September, 2025, a sensitization program on "ADRs in TB: Management and Reporting" was conducted, followed by a screening of prize-winning short films. The event was led by Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Scientist F and Coordinator, NIRT AMC, in Madurai, and Dr. Syed Hissar, Scientist E and Deputy Coordinator, NIRT AMC, in Chennai, along with their teams. Prizes were distributed to the winners during the event.
