Participatory Workshop for GHTM Nursing Staff
As part of the Wings of Support (WoS) initiative, the Department of Social and Behavioural Research (DSBR) of ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR-NIRT) organized a participatory workshop for nursing staff of the Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine (GHTM), Tambaram Sanatorium, on May 8, 2025. The event commenced with an ice-breaking activity and covered themes such as emotional and mental well-being at the workplace, building resilience, and coping mechanisms. Sixteen nurses actively participated in the event. The event was attended by Dr. Radhika, Resident Medical Officer of GHTM, and led by Mrs. Chandra Suresh, Mrs. A. Dhanalakshmi, Mrs. Priscilla Rebecca, and Ms. P. Shobana, Technical Officers of ICMR-NIRT.
