INSHORT Referesher Training
ICMR-NIRT recently conducted a comprehensive refresher training program for investigators and project staff from collaborating sites of the ongoing "INSHORT Trial". This landmark trial aims to transform the treatment of TB meningitis by evaluating an intensified short-course regimen to shorten treatment duration to 6 months.The training, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research, brought together experts from esteemed institutions, including JIPMER-Puducherry, AIIMS-Jodhpur, CMC-Vellore, NEIGRIHMS-Shillong, MMC-Chennai, and ICMR-NIRT. This capacity-building initiative equipped participants with the latest knowledge and skills to ensure seamless trial execution and high-quality data collection.
