TB Research Dissemination Meeting
ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) held a TB Research Dissemination Meeting on 24th September, 2025, at the Grand Imperial Hall, GRT Hotels in Chennai highlighting the key stakeholders who had sincerely helped ICMR-NIRT in accomplishing its goals.The meeting featured addresses from esteemed guests, including Dr. P. Senthilkumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Dr. A. Arun Thamburaj, IAS, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu and Tmt. R. Seethalakshmi, IAS, Project Director, TANSACS.Discussions focused on research activities, stakeholder felicitation, and an open house session on recommended research areas for TB elimination. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and highlighted the importance of collaboration in advancing science and fighting TB.
