TBM Symposium
ICMR-NIRT organized a symposium on "Update on TB Meningitis" as part of the INSHORT trial. Renowned experts shared insights on diagnosis, management, and treatment of TB Meningitis. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Narendran, Head of Dept. of Clinical Research, ICMR-NIRT and was moderated by Dr. Bella Devaleenal. A stellar lineup of speakers included Dr. Uma Maheswari (Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College),Dr. Baiakmenlang (NEIGRIHMS, Shillong), Dr. Kadhiravan (JIPMER, Puducherry), Dr. Deepak Kumar (AIIMS Jodhpur), Dr. Abi Manesh, Dr. Karthik G, and Dr. Selwyn Selvakumar (CMC, Vellore) and Dr. Siva Kumar (ICMR-NIRT) among others. Dr. Leeberk Raja delivered the closing remarks. The symposium was attended by doctors, nurses, and scientists from NIRT.
