A policy brief is a document that provides some background information on the issue being addressed and a short description of the research methods, results and recommendations for policy change.

The purpose of these policy briefs, based on the research work done at NIRT and its collaborating institutes, is to convince the target audience of the urgency
of the current problem, and the need to adopt the preferred alternative or course of action outlined. We hope this would serve as an impetus
or action in the right direction!!
